After-School Teachers for Strings and Voice (Private Lessons)

Description:
Seeking experienced teachers in two areas: 
ONE string teacher for weekly after-school private lessons on violin and beginner cello for elementary and middle-grade students and 

ONE experienced voice teacher for weekly after-school private lessons for upper-elementary and middle grades. 

Lessons scheduled one afternoon a week based on availability of instructor. Full-year commitment required (October-May). Fee-for-service position is paid per lesson. Salary depends on number of students. 

Qualifications:
Candidates must have patience, a positive rapport with young students, and excellent communication skills with parents. Bachelor or Master degree in Music Education or Music Performance required. Must have experience teaching Elementary age students, including beginners. Commitment and consistency are a must! Candidates will also have to pass a CORI/SORI check and sign an affidavit confirming the truthfulness of their application.
