We are seeking an energetic person to help us achieve these goals:
The Brockton Symphony Orchestra seeks a part-time Marketing/Fundraising Manager to oversee development, publicity, and fundraising. On behalf of the Symphony, they reach out to businesses, civic organizations, and the general public. The Manager organizes activities to raise funds or otherwise solicit monetary donations. They write promotional materials and lead the Publicity Committee. They raise awareness of the Symphony, its goals, and financial needs.
The Marketing/Fundraising Manager is a 1099 independent contractor who works remotely, with in-person interactions in the community as needed. Hours are flexible.

For over 70 years, the Brockton Symphony Orchestra has provided live, professional-level symphonic concerts to the greater Brockton community; taught and inspired children about music; and encouraged participation of local musicians and students. Brockton Symphony actively strives to enhance music education by performing with choruses and orchestras from local schools, and the annual Youth Concerto Competition encourages and rewards gifted young instrumentalists.
