It is the intention of Mayflower Medicinals, Inc.
(“Mayflower”) to be a contributing, positive force in communities that have
been disproportionately impacted by the prohibition on cannabis, and to assist
in positively influencing the perception of marijuana use. Mayflower's Plan to
Positively Influence Areas of Disproportionate Impact (“Positive Impact Plan”)
was designed as an integrated approach to promote economic empowerment and
social equity, with a specific focus on providing skills which enable individuals
to find gainful employment.
Mayflower’s Artist Spotlight Series is one pillar of
Mayflower’s Positive Impact Plan; it supports local artists by providing
real-work experience and job skills. Mayflower’s Artist Spotlight Series is a
paid program. Artists who are selected will be responsible for designing
artwork for specified Mayflower products that will be sold in retail stores.
Selected artists will be engaged for a three-month period, with three
individual design projects (one per month).
The selected artist will be an independent contractor of Mayflower.
This is a remote, three-month contract position.
-Must meet schedule deadline
-Past or present resident of a geographic “Area
of Disproportionate Impact” which has been defined by the Cannabis Control
Commission and identified in its Guidance
for Identifying Areas of Disproportionate Impact(student or dormitory housing does not apply).
-Massachusetts resident who has past drug
-Massachusetts resident with parents or a spouse
who have past drug convictions.
