Montserrat College of Art is seeking an instructor with
an undergraduate degree, teaching certification and/or equivalent professional
experience to teach Working in the
Landscape in our Summer Art Educator Institute program.
The week-long summer residential Art Educator Institute program (June 27 - July 1, 2021) is
designed for art educators teaching grades K through 12, and community college
art educators. Our Summer Institute immerses art educators from across the
country by creating an artist-in-residence experience for educators to develop
their own studio practice and build new skills that they can bring back to
The Working in
the Landscape class will meet from 9am-12pm from June 28th through July 1st
throughout the program. A second class could be added if enrollment allows,
which then would include a 1pm-4pm option.
Bachelor’s degree is required. Prior teaching
experience preferred. Strong leadership, oral and written communication skills.
