Creative Action Institute seeks a highly organized and creative individual to provide program and operations support that enables the organization to thrive as a part-time Finance and Operations Associate (20 hrs a week). We are looking for versatile candidates who are open to learning new things, able to problem solve with initiative, and are passionate about gender equality and building a sustainable planet.

The chosen candidate will report to the Executive Director and collaborate to ensure operations of the organization run smoothly and efficiently. They will receive an hourly wage of $18 - 22 per hour, commensurate with experience
GENERAL ACCOUNTING (DATABASE ENTRY) (60%)
? Accounts Payable: promptly manage bills and payments
? Accounts Receivable: track invoices, follow up with pending items
? Manage online accounts: Morgan Stanley, Eastern Bank, PayPal
? Run and manage payroll
? Reconciliation of bank statement each month
? Review and reconcile staff expense reporting against budgets and cash advances and process reimbursement requests
? Support ED in developing and managing field project budgets
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT (20%)
? General Office management: mailing, scheduling, printing, filing, phone, and email inquiries
? Manage subscriptions, insurance policies
? Manage completion of state, federal, and international legal filings and documentations such as filing the annual 990, responding to requests for W2s, etc.
? Support new staff by setting them up on all software and collaboration tools and adding them to payroll
? Help with board meetings to reserve conference rooms, coordinate logistics, take minutes, as well as post reports and staff materials
? Support team with Harvest and Asana
? Support team with travel arrangements such as booking flights, applying for visas, etc.
? Ensure professional communication as needed with clients, partners, program and contract staff regarding contracts, insurance, materials, evaluation and project budgets
PROGRAM SUPPORT (20%)
? Prepare materials for workshops as needed
