Art Camp Coordinator -- Summer Camps

During the summer vacation weeks, Arlington Center for the Arts offers a variety of fun, creative art camps for children in Grades 1-12. Our camps value imagination, artistic exploration and self-expression.

During the 2023 camp season, our in-person camp programs are scheduled to run Monday – Friday, from 9:00 am - 4:15pm.

Our Camp Coordinator will assist our year-round staff with the daily operations of the camp, including:

  • Camper behavioral management
  • Daily administrative tasks (printing camper nametags, organizing paperwork, etc.)
  • Leading outdoor games & activities
  • First Aid support
  • Classroom support
  • Overseeing camper check-in and check-out processes

The Camp Coordinator will be contracted to work Monday - Friday, 8:45am - 4:15pm, with two unpaid half hour breaks each day. We are currently seeking a Camp Coordinator for as many weeks of our summer camp as possible, but coordinators are not required to work all summer. Our biggest need is always in the last weeks of camp.
