Description:

ETM-Massachusetts seeks to find an experienced grant writer to support our organization’s fundraising goals for the fiscal year ending in 2021. We plan to serve a number of schools in Massachusetts under the following mission:


ETM-Massachusetts forms multi-year partnerships with under-resourced schools to provide music as a core subject for all children and to create school communities that value the arts. ETM believes every child deserves quality music education. Delivered as part of a well-rounded education, music can catalyze students’ improvement in achievement, motivation for school, and self-confidence. We work with principals to create sustainable programs.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM Qualifications: the minimum level of education, experience and certifications acceptable for the position.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree

Experience:

Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in grant writing and related activities

Specific skills:

  • Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to translate others’ input into narratives

  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent computer, organizational, and time management skills

  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment as a team player and to take initiative

  • Experience using a fundraising database and grant research tools
