Description:
We are a boutique arts agency in search of a contributing writer for our new blog. You will be writing short articles about music, weddings, and events in a variety of formats, including “listicles.” You will also be transcribing audio from interviews. You will have an editor as a point of contact, but will experience independent, remote work with moderately paced deadlines. You must be able to adapt to our style and format.

This is a remote contracted position. Contractor will be paid per article.

Qualifications:

This is a good job for: Professionals who want extra work on the side; students and recent grads who wish to gain experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Blogging, freelance, and/or copy writing background (education or professional equivalent)

Good to have but not necessary:

• Experience with transcription

• Wedding, event and music industry knowledge

• Slam dunk personality is always a plus
