Customer Service and Technical Support Specialist (Part-time to Full time)
Leading textbook publisher of print and digital educational products in the areas of Asian languages and cultural studies seeks someone committed to providing excellent customer service and technical support.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:? Provide outstanding customer service by handling phone and email inquiries about print and digital products, processing phone, fax, and online orders and requests for quotations, and handling returns and past due accounts in a timely manner? Assist customers with digital products and fulfill sample requests? Monitor and troubleshoot customer-reported issues, engaging directly with customers on first-line customer support of the ChengTsui Web App and other digital products; forward customer-reported issues to digital team as needed? Collect customer feedback; collaborate with digital and other teams on improvements to digital products? Help with in-house computer setup needs and serve as contact for remote third-party IT vendors for network servers? Perform backup bookkeeping role in invoicing, credit review, collections? Support in other areas as needed

? Minimum 5 years’ customer service and technical support experience? Proficiency with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite, utilizing websites, with high comfort using and supporting technology? Familiarity with ERPs assumed and CRMs (Salesforce) a plus? High comfort with computers and technology generally? Must be very thorough in taking directions, keeping track of projects and requests, and completing tasks accurately and in a timely manner? Ability to communicate clearly and courteously in writing and orally? Must have understanding of and skills in handling sensitive and confidential material? Possess a basic understanding of business practices in general, and office administration and customer service specifically? Flexibility and a positive attitude essential in a fast-paced environment requiring excellent multitasking skills? Must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize work independently? Interest in our mission and educational publishing preferred? Knowledge of an Asian language a plus
