Membership Coordinator

Are you looking to build your
career in museum development? Join Historic Beverly as our membership
coordinator. We’re looking for someone creative and dynamic to help us grow.
The membership coordinator will
promote the benefits of membership to visitors and residents. Activities
include maintaining accurate member records, preparing membership mailings and
providing excellent customer service to current and potential members.
Additionally the membership coordinator will analyze member activity and make
recommendations to increase acquisition and retention, as well as implementing
marketing campaigns to grow membership sales opportunities. Ideal candidate
will have two to four years of membership experience in a museum or historic
site. Flexible schedule of 15-18 hours/weekly to start;monthly evening/weekend events . Starting wage is $15/hour
with increase in 6 months.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: ·
Excellent data entry skills with
high accuracy and meticulous attention to detail·
Expert level knowledge in
Microsoft Excel and Word ·
Excellent communication skills,
both verbal and written
Excellent customer service skills
Able to work independently and
support senior staff and trustees
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Donorperfect
or other CRM software experience ·
Visitor/customer service
experience
