About this Organization:
Berkshire Music School is a small eighty-year-strong independent community non-profit located in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts.
It is the mission of the Berkshire Music School to foster the love and pursuit of music for all ages through quality music education activities, community collaborations, and performance opportunities.
We offer private and group lessons, ensembles, workshops
and classes; collaborations with area cultural organizations, social service agencies and senior centers/residences; in-house recitals, concerts and master classes. Our public school assemblies, after-school programs and offsite performances and residencies reach 2,000 school children and adult learners annually.
Berkshire Music School boasts 35 professional faculty members, who cover a wide range of instruments, as well as voice. Our centrally located campus comprises fourteen teaching studios, a studio devoted to percussion and a dance studio. We also have a 90-seat recital hall and a catering kitchen.
