Prospect Research Manager


Position Summary

The Prospect Research Manager will report to the Director of Prospect Management, Stewardship, and Operations and will be a key driver of individual and institutional fundraising by compiling detailed biographical and financial data on individuals, corporations, and foundations to support the development department’s ambitious goals, as well as identifying new prospects for solicitation and governance. Based on level of experience, the position may serve as a thought partner in developing strategies to strengthen the museum’s ladder of engagement.

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least one year’s prior experience in development research and experience
  • Familiarity with database software
  • Able to distill complex information into concise, readable documents
  • Able to manage time and prioritize deadline-oriented assignments and multiple deadlines
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as a strong team member in a fast-paced work environment
  • Meticulous attention-to-detail
  • Good judgment and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Naturally curious, action-oriented, creative thinker
