Group Sales Coordinator

Description:

The Group Sales Coordinator assists the Group Sales Manager with being a liaison between Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum® (BTPSM) and all group tour bookings including schools, tour operators, and wholesale tour clients. The customer’s first impression should be that our company has integrity, educational, and is fun. You tell our story to everyone that you come in contact with, customers judge our company by the way you do your job. You are to sell our product with pride and enthusiasm. It is our mission to be the Nation’s Storyteller.

Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must be able to handle multiple interruptions and adjustments to priorities throughout the day.
  • Ability to work with money, credit cards and cash receipts.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and difficult people both in person and via the telephone while maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanor.
  • Answer inbound calls and emails promptly in a professional manner. Courtesy and hospitality should be extended in full measure to every guest.
  • Assist with building the customer’s interest in the services and products offered by the company by developing and nurturing customer contacts and positive, proactive relationships, ensuring open streams of communication and customer satisfaction. Solicit new business through cold calls and email marketing campaigns, while maintaining current client list.
  • Shall be able to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with fellow CASTmembers and the general public.
  • Flexibility to work nontraditional hours and weekends.
