National Braille Press is looking for flexible part-time employees with open availability to work on-site with a blind braille proofreader. A qualified individual will read print text aloud while a blind braille proofreader simultaneously verifies braille text and images for accuracy. A background in math and science is strongly preferred, but not required. The position is seasonal and on-call, from now through May 2020, Monday through Friday, 8-5pm, but hours may fluctuate day-to-day dependent upon the volume of work.
  • Ability to read text passages, maps and charts clearly and concisely.
  • Background in math or science preferred, but not required 
  • Flexibility to work on-call with 24 hours' notice.
