Community Engagement Coordinator
Description:
In this role, the Community Engagement Coordinator will focus on managing community engagement processes for several ongoing projects and efforts. The Community Engagement Coordinator will also advance awareness of Beyond Walls’ ongoing arts and cultural efforts, programs and projects.
Responsibilities Include:
Creating and managing community engagement email blasts through Beyond Walls’ Raiser’s Edge Database and various social media channels
Creating marketing materials to support community engagement initiatives and programs
Ensuring Community Engagement Action Plan is executed
Designing, developing and executing at least one Beyond Walls community event per quarter
Scheduling meetings between key community stakeholders and the Executive or Associate Director
Reports To: Associate Director
This is a part time position up to 24 hours/week (3 Full days). Preferably Tuesday through Thursday but negotiable.
Qualifications:
2-3 years professional experience working with non-profit, political campaign, or other grassroots organizing efforts
Proven marketing skills and communications experience
Proven networking and relationship-building skills
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, resourceful, and hold the ability to multitask
Demonstrated high attention to detail
Weekend and evening hours occasionally required
Strong commitment to Beyond Walls’ mission and a passion for nonprofit work
Bilingual - Spanish or Khmer desired, but not required
Microsoft office and Google suite
Experience using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management Software)
