Project Manager


Boston Art is seeking a full-time Project Manager with a great, artistic eye and prior office experience to join our fun and hard-working team. He or she will report to and work as a client service team with one of our firm’s art consultants, collaborating on each project handled by that consultant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for art and a strong proclivity for business/project management to make an impactful contribution at a rapidly growing company.


· Serve as a dedicated right-hand to an art consultant

· Contribute to development of creative material and oversee execution of multiple administrative projects simultaneously; monitor and manage project progress and ensure deadlines are met

· Maintain appointment schedule, manage all emails and communications, meet with clients in consultant’s absence and attend and take notes at all client meetings

· Serve as the liaison between the art consultant, client, frame shop and installation team

· Research fine art treatments; communicate with artists and vendors on behalf of consultant; order artwork

· Understand the key contacts and business goals of art consultant and assist consultant in building relationships and developing client pool; proactively seek new business and opportunities

· Execute follow-up on appointments, conversations, walk-throughs and conference calls·

· Prepare letters, proposals, invoices, purchase orders and expense reports

· Exhibits excellent judgment, time-management and prioritization skills in order to meet deadlines

· is not a clock-watcher or someone who is unwilling to step outside their job description

· Is committed to the company; someone who will contribute to the life and culture of Boston Art


· Bachelor’s Degree required (please include GPA and any awards or recognition); art history or studio art preferred

· 1-3 years administrative, project management or office experience is preferred, but we may be willing to train if you are a recent college graduate

· Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

· Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office mastery is required

· Knowledge of graphic design, database management and Adobe Creative Suite

· Driver’s license required
