The USS Constitution Museum seeks an organized and customer
service oriented individual for the Group Reservations Coordinator position. The
Group Reservations Coordinator is responsible for all tasks related to
coordinating group visits to the Museum, including answering all inquiries
regarding group visits; promoting program options to student, youth, and adult
groups; ensuring all group visit policies, confirmations, invoices, and other
pertinent materials are sent to groups in a timely manner; maintaining the
schedule of reserved group visits and programs in the Museum’s database;
consistently updating records and reporting information to senior staff members
in the Museum Learning department; processing payments and tracking
grant-funding in a timely and responsible manner; and providing excellent
customer service to all guests.
The successful candidate will have excellent customer and
visitor service qualities including a professional demeanor, sound judgment,
problem solving skills, and a positive attitude. Strong written and verbal
communication skills especially the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically
are required. Must be comfortable working independently and reporting to team
members. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and able to
multi-task. Experience with database systems required. Museum experience
desired, but not necessary.
