Visitor Services Representative
Visitor Services Representatives are responsible for greeting
visitors, promoting Museum Memberships and general admission tickets, and
ensuring that all visitors have a positive overall Museum experience this
includes being able to briefly explain exhibits and collections. This is a
part-time position, 3-4 days a week with availability on weekends.
Admission sales to the Museum.
Offering to sell or renew Museum Membership at the beginning of
every appropriate transaction.
Accurate cash handling and reconciliation using Square POS system.
Welcoming all visitors.
Creative problem solving and resolution of visitor issues.
Provide information on Museum exhibits and activities to enhance
the visitor experience.
Perform a combination of clerical tasks to support
Additional duties as assigned in support of the mission of the
Museum, including various weekly clerical duties.
1-3 years of related experience in customer service and cash
Excellent customer service skills
Familiarity with PC/Macintosh
Cash handling expertise
Strong communication skills; verbal and written fluency in
Solid organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work as a team player
Ability to work Apple products or quick to learn various
Availability to work weekends and some evenings
