Assistant Manager

Description:

We are a growing small business specializing in fine handmade and antique jewelry, with three retail stores and a local studio where all of our jewelry is produced. We are looking for an Assistant Manager for our Northampton location.

Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate has:


- Exceptional people skills
- Is confident, outgoing, and professional
- Experience working in a high-end retail environment, preferably fine jewelry
- Feels very comfortable on the sales floor & knows how to build value in a product and build strong relationships with customers.


The primary responsibility of this position is sales with a secondary emphasis on being a leader who wants to grow and move up within our company. We invest a lot in our employees and promote from within whenever possible. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow & further their career.


Hours are somewhat flexible at around 35 hours per week, some weekend hours required. Compensation is commensurate with experience and will be discussed in interview. Benefits include commission, 401k plan, and profit-sharing.

In 2012 we opened our 2nd store at 17 Brattle St in the heart of Harvard Square in Cambridge. In 2016 we opened our 3rd location in historic Beacon Hill, Boston at 96 Charles St.
