Beyond Walls' mission is to activate underutilized space to strengthen communities. We do this work by partnering with local organizations, municipalities, community members and expert consultants to design, produce and manage projects and programs that infuse public art and creative experiences into underutilized public spaces. Through our work, we hope to empowers community members’ and visitors’ sense of place and safety.

Originally, a completely volunteer initiative, Beyond Walls, was set into action through a variety of donations, sponsorships, and grants. We are fiscally sponsored by Lynn's own, Neighborhood Development Associates, a 501c3 nonprofit.

Beyond Walls continues to use grassroots efforts to promote stronger, more vibrant, and inclusive communities. Through our placemaking projects and programming, we are committed to retaining the voice, integrity, and pride of area residents.
