Human Resources Assistant - Boston (temporary, full-time)

Position Summary:

We are looking for a seasonal/temporary Human Resources Assistant to support the Human Resources department with a high volume of administrative tasks during the busy spring hiring season. The primary responsibilities include processing confidential background and driving checks, posting jobs to our website and other external sites, processing new hire paperwork, and updating data in the Payroll and HR Information System. Other duties include proofreading, formatting documents, filing and other general administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required; Associates degree preferred
  • 1-3 years administrative experience desired, preferably in an HR department
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience working with databases a plus
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality a must

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), seasonal/temporary position.
