Bilingual Tour Guide

Description:
Seeking bilingual tour guides in French, Spanish, Italian, and/or German for the 2019 summer tour season.
Boston Historical Tours is seeking tour guides for Harvard, MIT, and Downtown Boston. This is a very part-time, very flexible position. $200 training fee for each tour mentioned, and then the company will call when tours are scheduled, roughly 1-5 times per month from April-November. Each tour pays $90 minimum, or $40-$60 per hour for combination tours. 
Depending on level of English and interest, more work can be given for regular tours in English.
Our company delivers history and science in a fun, theatrical, engaging way. The schedule is not a set schedule, so the gigs would be offered as they come to us, and based on your availability.
French guides may be asked to wear a costume on occasion to give tours. Please indicate whether you would be comfortable with this in your response!
Qualifications:
Fluency in French, Spanish, Italian or German. Multiple languages a plus! Must be a people person with good conversation skills. Love of storytelling and/or history.

Cambridge Historical Tours seeks to excite diverse learners about local and national history, science, literature, and fine arts. Using humor, charm, and whatever other means necessary, we try to entertain audiences as they learn about things. Tours include Executive Private Tours, educational school field trips, occasional performances, and more. We cover the Freed Trail, Harvard, MIT, Lexington and Concord, women's experience, the African-American experience, architecture, food and booze, and anything else that might aid learning through fun.
