Summer Intensive Program Resident Assistant

Description:

Urbanity Dance is seeking responsible and energetic Residential Assistant for Urbanity Dance’s three week Summer Intensive program serving students ages 11-24 years old from July 22nd to August 10th, 2019 at the MassArt TreeHouse residential halls.


The Residential Assistant to be on hand to organize activities, enforce policies, and work with students to see that everyone is adjusting well and having a positive experience while away from home. Position is full time come program for the three weeks, requires part - time hours leading up to the program to make sure the RA receives training hours including an American Red Cross training certification. RA to answer directly to supervisor, the Resident Director. RAs are responsible for walking students to the dining hall, and helping ensure that the students receive their meals. RD and RA’s are responsible for splitting up all on- duty shifts equally. Shifts include from 5pm to midnight Monday through Friday, and 8am to 4pm and 4pm to midnight on Saturdays and Sundays.


Qualifications:

Candidates must have experience working with children and teenagers in a supervisory role. No dance experience needed.
