Master Electrician

Description:

The Master Electrician will be responsible for:

· Developing working plans from the lighting and sound designs

· Work with Production manager to placing material / rental orders in a timely fashion

· Collaborate with the lighting and sound designers to ensure all plans can be executed on budget

· Load in of all lighting and sound equipment

· Lead all change over and focus calls

· Operate the light board for all tech rehearsals and conduct dimmer check for performances

· Maintain the lighting and sound equipment throughout the performance run

· Track Inventory of both CTC and rented electrics

· Supervise and train all interns on electrics responsibilities

Qualifications:
Working knowledge of current industry standards and safe practices for theatrical lighting installation and maintenance.
