Operations Coordinator

Description:

Lexington Historical Society in Lexington, Massachusetts is seeking a part-time (25 hours per week) operations coordinator to work in its main office. Reporting to the executive director, the operations coordinator will be responsible for all administrative functions including serving as the first point of contact for the Society, managing the donor database, operations of a rental space, and managing membership mailings.


Duties include:

·Processing donations and payments to Lexington Historical Society

·Coordinating rental contracts and schedules

·Maintaining donor management system

·Creating regular membership mailings

·Managing mail and paper files in the office

·Serving as first point of contact for phone calls and walk-ins

·Managing office, rental, and membership email addresses

·Purchasing office and building supplies


Qualifications:
Candidate must be detail-oriented, responsible, able to meet deadlines, and work well independently and as part of a team. He or she must be able to carefully handle private information regarding donations, and interact well with staff, board, volunteers, and members of the public. Candidate should have experience working with Microsoft Office, GSuite and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with eTapestry or similar database, and website creation preferred. This position will be 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9am-2pm.
