ArtWeek Internship (Winter/Spring 2019)


The ArtWeek Winter/Spring Intern will play a critical role in preparing for the festival, which culminates April 26 - May 5, 2019. This individual will report to the ArtWeek Community Engagement Manager, ArtWeek Manager and ArtWeek Lead Champion/Chief Strategic Officer.This internship must be for school credit. Number of hours are dependent on the school’s requirements; restricted to students available including, but not all, of the following hours: Mondays and Fridays 9:00am – 5:00pm, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursdays 2:00 – 5:00pm. Preferred start date: January 21 or 28, 2019.

The ArtWeek intern will work on projects like the following:

· Perform ArtWeek event calendar preparation tasks

· Research and compile lists of potential ArtWeek event hosts for outreach

· Assist in the maintenance of the ArtWeek website

· Create graphics for event calendar, web, and marketing-related materials

· Support other aspects of ArtWeek preparation, as needed

· Assist the Boch Center Marketing Team on miscellaneous show-centric projects, as needed


· Ability to work independently and keep advisors up-to-date

· Attention to detail while doing repetitive tasks

· Enthusiasm to learn new technology skills, if not already adept at Adobe Photoshop and WordPress
