Jazz Musicians/Vocalists for Women of Jazz Exhibit

Description:

Seeking a jazz singer with accompanist or jazz group to perform for 30 minutes during our opening night reception, Thursday, February 7 at 6pm.


Compensation is $150 total for load-in, 30-minute performance, and load-out.

Artist Kate Shaffer’s portraits reflects the diverse spectrum of talent from the 1920s to the present as she honors the legacy of the women of jazz. From composers and bandleaders, to singers and producers, this exhibit reveals the remarkable contribution women have made to this truly American form of musical expression.

Qualifications:
Must be well-versed in classic jazz standards.
