Graphic Design Intern

Description:
ARCK’s Graphic Design Interns will assist with projects and responsibilities including:
  • Design advertising, promotional, and informational materials for ARCK’s programs and events (such as the Annual Auction Benefit Gala)
  • Collaborate with staff to implement ARCK’s creative vision for outreach and brand efforts
  • Ensure alignment of all publications, logos, and advertisements with ARCK’s style and brand guides
  • Attend regular meetings/check-ins with ARCK staff
  • Facilitate various administrative duties as needed
This unpaid internship will begin in January and last through Spring 2019. The internship will require a minimum of 10- 20 hours a week, with flexibility around work/class schedules.
*ARCK is willing to fill out any paperwork, evaluations or onsite meetings in order for students to receive academic credit for their internship.

  • Applicant should be a current undergraduate or graduate student with prior experience in graphic design and fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign). Applicants should be creative and responsible self-starters, willing to conceptualize designs while working within the bounds of ARCK’s style and brand guidelines.
  • This internship would be an especially great opportunity for graphic design or other art majors looking to apply and expand their artistic skills and knowledge within the fields of arts education and nonprofit work.
  • Applicants should be team players, organized, and responsible. The ideal applicant will be genuinely passionate about ARCK’s mission and excited to work with a small arts education nonprofit as it expands and grows!

ARCK uses art and arts integration to enhance the academic experience of our students while focusing on developing concepts like cultural diversity, identity, leadership skills, civic engagement and social justice.
