Quickbooks Expert (volunteer)
This job consists of a monthly downloading of bank data onto the Quickbooks software, verifying account assignments and editing if
necessary, and producing YTD financial statements each month. These statements will be reviewed by a board member and, if necessary, adjusted prior to emailing the final version to the members of
the Executive Committee.
Except for the first month, it is estimated that the job
will entail about two (2) man-hours per month.
At the onset of this hire, the Quickbooks expert will spend a few additional
hours with a member of the Executive Committee of the board of City Strings
United to develop two additional statements that are needed. In other words, during the first month a
total of 4 to 5 hours will be required to set these up. Thereafter 2 hours per month will suffice.
College degree and at least 3 years of Quickbooks experience. Two references are required.

About this Organization:
CSU provides free cellos and cello lessons during the school year to Boston urban youth between the ages of six to seventeen. It is supported by a dedicated Board of Directors, staff, teaching assistants from Berklee College of Music, and parents.
In August 2018, the Massachusetts Cultural Council awarded CSU a three-year Creative Youth Development Grant. In addition, CSU is the recipient of a multi-year grant from the Johnson String Project to help underwrite the cost of the free cellos CSU provides its students.
