Tuesdays 6:30pm - 9:10pm
Montserrat College of Art seeks a
part-time, adjunct faculty member to teach Fabrication Methods: Wood. The candidate must
have proficiency in hand tools, hand power tools and fixed woodworking machinery,
and thorough knowledge of joinery. Emphasis is placed on safe studio practices.
An MFA and/or professional wood
shop experience is required. Three years of higher education teaching experience
Position takes place in a shop
environment; manual dexterity to use computers is required; ability to lift 25 lbs.
Availability to participate in shop orientation, end-of semester critiques, and preparation of
student work for exhibition at Spring Open House events is required.
