Digital Production Assistant
We are looking for a Digital Production Assistant to join our Children’s Media team at WGBH. This position will support WGBH’s many and varied digital kids projects, primarily games, apps and interactive content focused on a range of STEM, literacy and health curricula. Production Assistants typically take on key support roles on many projects and a typical day may include note taking, reviewing and editing user-generated content, conducting research, collecting production assets, tracking projects and schedules, recording meeting notes, and copy-editing. Other tasks include user testing, QA testing, video capture, audio processing, managing interns, and archiving.
Working with senior producers and staff, you will help assist on a new project focused on preschool computational thinking. With appropriate support from WGBH, you will be required to work in a way that is compliant with all Federal regulations relating both to budgetary compliance and to FTC and FCC rules about multimedia and children.

60% Support producers in all aspects of production work, note taking, reviewing and editing user-generated content, conducting research, collecting production assets, tracking projects and schedules, recording meeting notes, and copy-editing. 1-2 years in a professional multimedia setting.Affinity and enthusiasm for working with technology, education and children’s media.Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with all levels of staff.Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.Creative problem solver with strong sense of initiative.Spanish fluency a plus.
