The Williams College Office of Alumni Relations is seeking a full-time (40
hours/week) Program Coordinator. Dedicated to an ever-growing and increasingly
diverse alumni body, the Alumni Relations Office serves as a primary liaison
between its constituency and the College. Promoting lifelong engagement through
events, programming, and services, the AR Office connects members of the
Williams family to each other and the College.
Reporting to the Director of Off-Campus Programs and the Director of Alumni
Diversity and Inclusion, the coordinator will partner with both Directors as
well as respective alumni volunteers by assisting with the development of
programming, marketing, and by providing logistical, technical, and financial
support for event planning.

- Partner with the Director of Alumni Diversity and
Inclusion to develop and execute yearly programming aimed increasing
engagement with under-represented groups (alumni of color, LGBTQ+ alumni,
first generation alumni, womxn, among others) and design and coordinate
inclusive experiences across the entire alumni community;
- Partner with the Director of Off-Campus Programs to
develop and execute programming in support of Williams' 75+ regional
- Support and engage with Regional Programs and Alumni
- Assist with office-sponsored events, both on-campus and
off-campus, with occasional evening and weekend support required
- Monitor budgets across multiple departments/projects,
- Create and oversee print and digital correspondence,
invitations and event registration forms
- Offer email/ phone customer service, and handle all
other administrative tasks as needed
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of
experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Event planning, customer service, and excellent oral
and written communication skills, including email correspondence and proofreading,
- Experience with Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives is
- Ability to interact effectively with people of
different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds
- Volunteer management and data reporting expertise is a
- Professionalism, confidentiality, a positive attitude
and the ability to collaborate with others
- Strong technology acumen – particularly the ability to
create and analyze data-driven success metrics, as well as familiarity
with social media platforms
- Ability to travel occasionally, lift, and move and
transport materials for campus events is necessary
