Bookkeeper

Description:

Experienced bookkeeper wanted 1 day/week. Responsibilities include posting  income and expense entries; end of month close GL maintenance & reconciliation; = process weekly AP entries and generate checks. Reconcile bank statements monthly; track grant funds; process memberships and donations; prepare monthly reports and participate in annual audit.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have at least three years experience in non-profit accounting, and will be familiar with QuickBooks, Microsoft office and basic IT operations; experience with Donorperfect is a plus. Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting. The candidate will have a strong understanding of non-profit accounting principles. Must be able to negotiate three-floor historic building with limited accessibility.
