Office Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for NEC Prep students
and families, and, as such, will regularly interact with faculty, current
students and parents, and prospective student and parents. The Office
Coordinator also provides additional administrative support for the NEC Prep
staff team and will learn the fundamentals of the registration system.

Compile, maintain, copy and track as directed scholarship
applications, working with the scholarship committee as necessary.
Manage schedules for appointments and auditions with Prep
Director and Department Chairs.
Work independently and with team members on special and
support for the fall and spring audition periods.
scheduling and administrative needs for the String and Piano Workshops/Recitals.
Help manage student workers and offer administrative
support during the NEC Prep summer camps including Suzuki Explorers.
Work with the Prep Registrar, learn the basics of the
registration system, and assist with any registration and student payment tasks,
Process Department reimbursements in Web invoicing system
and Amex statements.
Other Duties as assigned.
Strong interpersonal skills and a high attention to detail.
Music background preferred.
Demonstrated ability to execute complex logistics and react to and
resolve sensitive situations.
Capacity to manage priorities and workflow in a fast paced environment
while maintaining an acute attention to detail and good customer service.
Physical ability to setup and move equipment required.
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and
organizational skills, including strong problem solving skills.
Availability to work a Tuesday-Saturday schedule during the academic
year and a Monday-Friday Schedule from June-August; attendance at some evening
concerts is required.
