The Worcester Chamber Music Society (WCMS) is a non-profit performing organization, performing engaging classical chamber music concerts to the Greater Worcester community. We add value to the cultural and economic fabric of the community through our unique combination of affordable concerts, education and community engagement initiatives. WCMS performs 17 concerts each season in formal venues, restaurants and community centers.
WCMS is committed to quality arts education and offers two acclaimed programs for youth and adults. Neighborhood Strings is a free inner-city strings program for at-risk youth in Worcester’s Downtown and Main South neighborhoods. ChamberFest Music Camp is a two-week intensive chamber music program for ages 12 through adult held each July at Clark University.
The marketing intern will work with our Marketing Coordinator to help coordinate and implement our marketing efforts specifically related to promotion of our upcoming 2018-19 Season 13 Fall and Winter concerts as well as our Neighborhood Strings youth music program. Specific tasks and projects will be identified and implemented throughout the internship.
