School & Group Relations Manager

Discovery Museum, Acton seeks highly personable educator with excellent interpersonal and team management skills. Co-design and lead daily group visitor experiences for PreK-8th grade students and their teachers. Must be highly organized, energetic, able to manage a shared team of dedicated staff, flexible and responsive to needs of visitors, a strong communicator, and an enthusiastic participant of a team approach. PT, 24 to 30 hours, weekdays. Good potential for career progression
Background in informal or formal education.  Experience with program development a plus. Proven ability to successfully work with and lead a team is critical.

Discovery Museum is a hands-on museum that blends science, nature, and play, inspiring families to explore and learn together. The museum and its Discovery Woods accessible outdoor nature playscape and 550-square-foot treehouse blend the best of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) learning on a beautiful 4.5-acre campus in Acton, MA, about 20 miles west of Boston.
