Part-Time Office Manager

The Performing Arts Connection in Sudbury, MA is seeking a part-time Office Manager to join our team.

The Office Manager is involved in almost every aspect of studio administration. We are a large theater AND dance studio with over 650 families.  Please note this position is not involved in theatrical productions/backstage work/production team elements but rather running the front desk of a busy performing arts school.

Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys administrative work, loves people, is flexible and collaborative, and can multi-task (we aren't kidding when say multi-task :)  We are seeking a cheerful, warm, and enthusiastic individual with a natural ability and confidence to connect with people of all ages.  The Office Manager position requires a tremendous attention to detail, a general knowledge of theater AND dance studio life, and is best suited for someone who is efficient, thorough, and personable.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing customer accounts, giving thoughtful, cheerful and concise answers to questions from both students and parents, managing our registration system and database, handling a steady stream of phone calls, emails, and walk-in customers, collecting payments and ensuring an exceptional experience for our families.

Hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00AM-1:00PM (hours shift slightly from June-August). 


•Successful candidates will be flexible and able to prioritize well as well as be exceptionally organized

• Extremely detail-oriented and a strong ability to multi-task

• Experience in an administrative support position

• Previous experience with registration systems helpful, but not required. Willingness and ability to quickly learn these tools is required.

• Experience or background in theater and/or dance is preferred but not required

• Ability to build and maintain positive and constructive working relationships with faculty and families

• Open-minded collaborator with team spirit! Candidates who embody are our mission and values as an organization are strongly desired.
