Early Childhood Music Teacher
NEMPAC is seeking an early childhood classroom music
instructor who loves working with children and influencing their child
development through music! He/she will teach at one of our NEMPAC partnership sites, as well as assist in the development of additional early childhood programming at NEMPAC. The expectation is that children will have a class environment
that is positive and exciting with instruction that is both fun and
educational. We are seeking a versatile instructor who can introduce guitar,
voice, drums, and keyboard to the students through general music classes. Instructor must love working with
children, and also incorporate general music games, movement games, and music
theory instruction into their class to offer a diversified curriculum.
Early childhood programs are expected to seamlessly transition to into NEMPAC's youth offerings so students can continue their music education.
Instructor will also be responsible for working with the Educational
Programs Director of NEMPAC to develop programs and implement new and exciting curriculums. He/she must be comfortable working with students between 0-4 years with guardians present and without. They will also be responsible for communication with their partnership location about programming.
-Instructor should have at least 2 years in-classroom experience teaching
early childhood music education classes.

-Instructor will have a Bachelors degree in Music Education,
Performance, or another relevant field.
